Butchart Gardens (3.0+ hours)
A visit to Victoria is incomplete without a trip to the world renowned Butchart Gardens. Take as much time as you wish to explore these beautiful 100 year old gardens.

Explore! Kayak Tour (5.5 hrs)
On this interpretive tour, we leave Victoria’s protected inner harbour for the wide open vistas of beautiful Juan de Fuca Strait. We’ll explore the nooks and crannies of this scenic ocean coastline and check out the marine life on the nearby islets. Of course, you’ll be surrounded by nature, so keep watch for seals, sea stars and eagles.

Inner Harbour Kayak Tour (2.5 hrs)
If you’re looking for the best view of Victoria’s picturesque harbour waterways, all you have to do is get in a kayak!  On this relaxing tour, you’ll get a chance to see the local cityscape and the historic harbour and gorge waterways from a perspective that few get to experience. It won’t take you long to understand why this charming capital city has become one of the world’s favourite destinations.

Parklands & Waterfront Natural History Interpretive Tour* (3.0 hrs)
Departing from the Victoria Conference Centre and led by naturalist and photographer Nancy Dolan, this tour features totem poles, the gardens of a historic nunnery, native groves of Gary Oak and Arbutus trees, alpine gardens, camas fields, water gardens, native plants, Salish Sea oceanfront and inter-tidal zones, abundant bird life including bald eagles, herons, swans, peacocks, ducks and geese.

Parklands & Waterfront Natural History Photo Tour* (3.0 hrs)
Designed for ‘budding’ nature photographers.  May is the perfect time to capture the stunning beauty of the nearby gardens, parks and shoreline on this low impact walking tour.  Native and introduced trees, shrubs and plants common in the Salish Sea, a variety of birds are abundant on this tour led by one of Victoria’s pre-eminent nature photographers. Bring along your camera and your curiosity!

Race Rocks Dive* (6.0 hrs)
The waters surrounding Victoria are some of the most vibrant, diverse and rich dive waters in the world.  On this full day excursion to Race Rocks Ecological Reserve you will dive in waters that support a variety of marine life including Stellar, and California Sea Lions, Basket Stars, Abalones, Giant Red Urchins, Kelp Forests, Anemones, Puget Sound King Crabs, Rockfish, Ling Cod, and much, much more. Above the water there is an abundance of seabirds, otters and also the possibility of viewing Gray Whales & Killer Whales (seasonal).  This  is an exciting and challenging experience suitable for all divers from novice to experienced with depths ranging from 30 – 110 feet (9 – 34 meters) and average visibility around 40 – 50 feet (15 meters).  Guided dives are available and must be booked in advance.

Notes: Bring your own dive gear, and/or rent what you need.  Includes ground transportation to dive departure point.  Maximum group size: 7.

Sunset Kayak Tour* (3.0 hrs)
Watch for the brilliant pinks, stunning blues, and dazzling yellows that makes Victoria’s sunsets legendary, and even more spectacular from a kayak!  As we traverse the inner harbour, upper harbour and the historic Gorge Waterway, we’ll be able to see the city turn from day into night. While on the water, keep an eye out for unique birds and marine wildlife – this area is constantly full of surprises!

Whale Watching (3.0 hrs)
Speed off-shore to traditional whale watching and marine animal viewing areas in the Race Rocks or San Juan Islands areas of the Straits of Juan de Fuca.  High-speed catamaran boats feature covered, out of the weather seating, elevated viewing platform and an onboard washroom.

Price: $95 (adults); $60 (children 14 years or under); free for babies (2 years or under)

If you are interested in trips or excursions not listed here, please contact us as we will work with you to arrange small group or special trips.

Trips which fail to meet minimum group sizes will be cancelled with a full refund.

Unless noted otherwise, all trips depart from the IMCC Meeting Point at the Douglas Street entrance to the Victoria Conference Centre (720 Douglas).
